While this sounds like the beginning of a joke, this is exactly how DecodeChess was conceived. The company is the result of a close acquaintance between three friends with a passion for chess and artificial intelligence algorithms.

Zeev’s experience with IT began in the early 90’s when he received his B.Sc. in Computer Science. Due to his natural talent as an innovative leader Zeev propelled himself through the ranks at Convergys International. Prior to leaving Convergys to found DecodeChess, Zeev was a director with a multi million dollar budget and managed large global teams servicing Fortune 100 clients. Zeev has a unique skill set in technology, communications and interpersonal dynamics with the ability to see outside the box and challenge the status quo.

Ofer holds a Ph.D. in History and Philosophy of Science, a Masters in History and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics. To be sure he is well diversified he did his Post Doctoral in Computer Science. He has years of experience in AI systems.
In his youth, Ofer played chess at the highest levels. He remains a chess enthusiast and plays whenever he has the opportunity. Ofer is also a Tai Chi master and instructor in self-mindfulness.

Ofer holds a M.Sc. with honors in Computer Science. He brings years of high quality software design and development experience in a range of areas, from large distributed systems to drivers and embedded systems, using numerous environments, platforms and languages.
Ofer has a knack for solving hard problems. He was the first person in the world to solve all 33 Levels of Python Challenge (a series of riddles and puzzles).
